His contribution to Brighton hash was immense and deeply valued.
His energy and creativity kept our spirits high—whether through his inspired RA’ing, his brilliantly inventive fancy dress outfits, or his witty and entertaining run reports. Over the years, he set many memorable hashes, each with an unusual twist or unexpected angle that kept us guessing and smiling.
Dangleberry was also an enthusiastic participant in the CRAFT hash and came up with some great pub crawl ideas, as well as hosting many wonderful non-hash social events near his home in Newtimber Place. His generosity and skill with food will long be remembered.
Outside of the hash, Dangleberry was an accomplished software engineer (working at a variety of companies over the years) and a party-animal, often out on Brighton scene; these connections led to a number of others being introduced to the hash.
Rest in peace, dear friend. Thank you for the laughter, the kindness, and the countless moments you shared with us. You will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
